All clients are provided with a service user guide and a service agreement at the commencement of the service. We accept Direct Payment and all major debit and master cards. Our services are tailored made to meet your needs, giving clients the freedom to carry on their lives as normal as possible in their own homes comfortably. Winsor Care strives to offer an effective, efficient and professional service that exceeds the expectation of our clients, promote positive outcomes, while maintaining dignity, privacy and respect at all times.
All our carers are selected not just on their capabilities as a carer, but also for their empathy and manner. The registered care manager 'Ms Florence Kizza' has over 7years experience in working in health and social care for adults with different illnesses. She holds a BA Hons in Business Management, and level 5 Diploma in health and social care. She is also a certified First Aider, a Trainer and a Risk Assessor. All Our staff undergoes a robust recruitment process which ensures that all staff are fully vetted, Enhanced DBS checked, full employment history, at least 2 references, identity check and we ensure that all staff have the right to work in the UK.
All staff attends an induction programme that complies with the Care Standard Act and Skills for Care and is evaluated on an ongoing basis through regular monitoring by supervision and appraisal. Over 85% of our workforce has achieved at least a level 2 or 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care. We have recruited a dedicated caring, competent, experienced and qualified workforce that have received extensive training covering all aspects of care and business knowledge.
Our Staff are required to attend both in-house and external training on a regular basis to make sure that they are up-to-date with any new healthcare best practice that is issued by the Care Quality Commission; this is also in line with our staff development policy.
